Luma Congo is a privately held export company with the area of interest comprising the 3T minerals. The company’s main objective is to develop the Regional Responsible Sourcing in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Our team believes in sustainable and fair procurement practices whilst ensuring strict adherence to ethical business principles and human rights. Luma Congo, as an iTSCi member, is devoted to the case of the responsible trade and purchase of conflict-free minerals and ore that have been procured in transparent and traceable supply chains.
Luma Congo belongs to the Luma Holding Capital Group associating companies from the metallurgy, venture and automotive sectors.
Our Mission is to become dedicated to a conflict-free mineral trade while conducting business in compliance with due diligence, traceability and OECD guidelines.
As a committed member of the iTSCi programme, all minerals that Luma Congo trades originate from verified and traceable conflict-free supply chains.
Luma Congo specialises in high quality cassiterite from the Democratic Republic of Congo as well as other 3T materials.
Cassiterite is a tin oxide mineral with a chemical formula of SnO2. Cassiterite was the main tin ore throughout ancient history and it still remains the most important source of tin.
Since 27th May 2021, Luma Congo has been a full Member of the International Tin Supply Chain initiative (iTSCi). Our minerals have the legitimate status of the fully conflict-free minerals. They are also exported with corresponding tags ensuring their traceability.

We ensure that grievances and complaints will be addressed in a timely, transparent, accessible and equitable manner.
We ensure fair and objective investigation of grievances and complaints identified, based on facts or reliable evidence.
We will make every effort to ensure that the whistle-blower and all interested parties are protected against any reprisal, discrimination or other adverse employment consequences – excluding compliance with the law and disciplinary rules.
All interested parties are encouraged to voice to Luma Congo any concerns regarding misconduct, wrongdoing or any identified risk within our supply chain at the earliest opportunity with a view to them being fully investigated by the appropriate authority.
